The Glastron Carlson 23' Scimitar is one of the most sought after of the entire Glastron line. Low production numbers, and high purchase cost for the 80s made this a very rare and collectable boat. This model is hard to find in any condition and at any price. Here is your opportunity to own one of the most unique and collectable fiberglass boats ever. Its design was way ahead of its time and still attracts alot of attention nearly 40 years later.

The boat comes with trailer and motor and is mostly complete. This would be considered a "project boat" and the price reflects just that. The 260/350 motor is out of the boat and ready for freshening up. T-tops are missing but can be replicated. The power Drivers seat is also missing. Everything else seems to be there. This is a truly one of a kind Allison race boat. It was originally made in the late 70s to run one of mercury's first V-6 outboards for a speed run. The deck is completley decked over like an Allison Drag boat It has only one seat cockpit and has a rear race fairing. This is a piece of racing history.  For the last several years it has been raced in APBA Formula V Class. I have one many high point championships using this boat. This is a very unique Allison. 1979 Allison classic in original condition. No cracks in transom, This is a very solid boat. The boat has the seat boxes removed as I was going to put the seat lower in the center of the boat  to Race in Formula V Class in APBA. So boat would need stringers added or add seat boxes like original to put 2 seats in it. This hull was completly restored using state of the art composite no rot materials (better than when it was new) All wood in bottom and transom was removed and replaced with composite material.
