Wisconsin Switzer Craft Rally
This was the first Switzer Craft rally I attended. I believe it was the first one of its kind. I brought my 1969 Shooting Star to the nearby Wisconsin meet. Bob Switzer had just built the new tunnel prototype shown in the photo. If memory serves me right these were the only 4 boats attending. The following meets were moved to Illinois. Tom and April Arambasich are the organizers of the current Switzer Craft Reunions.
CLASSIC GLASTRON OWNERS ASSOCIATION MEETS
Jerry has been a member of the Classic Glastron Owners Association and its Minnesota Chapter CGOAMN since its earliest meets. One at Brainerd/Nisswa MN, one at Little Falls, MN and the other at Lake Marion near Lakeville MN. The early meets had less than 5 boats. The little Falls meet had Classic Glastrons as well as some other really rare and unique collector boats. The most recent CGOAMN events have been on the River Near Red Wing MN. The Minnesota Classic Glastron Association meet has turned into a 3 day event allowing Glastron enthusiasts and collectors from all over the country to attend with 30-40 boats in attendance on average. The Minnesota chapter also has several meetups throughout the summer. Check out their website for more information. Their website is www.cgoamn.com
